Dolliver Memorial State Park

Dolliver Park is an unique mix of natural beauty and cultural history.  It includes bluffs, canyons, the Des Moines River, Prairie Creek, Bone Yard Hollow and Native American burial mounds.  It has a sandstone formations called the Copperas Beds which give a cross-sectional view of the ancient river bed.  Dolliver Park offers picnicking, camping, hiking, birdwatching, boating and fishing.  It has 3 day use lodges, modern campgrounds and a picnic shelter.

Dolliver Park has 2 family cabins, electric and non-electric sites, modern rest room and showers and a trailer dump station.

J. F. Kennedy Memorial Park

Full hook up available, electricity and cabins for rent

John F. Kennedy Memorial Park is a 400 acre multiple use recreation area for camping, picnicking, hiking, and other outdoor activities including an18 hole Lakeside Municipal Golf Course. The 53-acre Badger Lake provides for fishing, canoeing and boating (no-gas motors).  The park features a cabin, shelter house, nature center, children's forest, Veterans Memorial Park, environmental education programs, fishing docks, handicapped accessible fishing jetty, boat ramp, swimming beach, hiking trails, softball field, playground, open shelters with grills, volleyball court, bird blind viewing with feeding station, butterfly garden with model backyard, dog training area, wintertime activities and remote control airplane flying area.

Webster County Fairgrounds

Home of the Webster County Fair! But that’s not the only thing happening out at the Fairgrounds. They host many activities throughout the year, including horse shows, rodeos, and monthly flea markets, figure 8 car racing, tractor pulls, bridal shows, craft shows, dog shows, sports shows, wedding receptions, meetings, trainings and more.  The Webster County Fairgrounds has many facilities available for rental, including a multipurpose building, indoor or outdoor arenas and livestock buildings. Campgrounds has 90+ spots available with electric hookup, showers and bathrooms on site as well as dump station.
