Casualities
of War: Modern Artist and the Second World War showing March 6 through
September 10 at the Blanden Memorial Art Museum

Sentimental Journey , a WW II B-17 Bomber will be on display at the
Fort Dodge Regional Airport, Monday, July 28-Thursday, July 31.
Sentimental Journey will arrive at noon on July 28 and visitors will be
able to see the aircraft up close and speak with the Arizona Wing of
the Commemorative Air Force Volunteers. A $5
donation is requested to take the tour of the plane. Sentimental
Journey is on display from July 28th-Noon to 6 P.M. & July
29th-31st- 9 A.M.- 6 P.M.
Flights are available in the restored WW II B-117 Bomber for $425 per person, contact (602) 448-9415

Iowa Singers and Jazz Band Concert Performance to be held on July 31 at
7 PM. Performance held at the Decker Auditorium on the Iowa
Central Community College Campus.

The Webster County Conservation
Board’s annual Carp Fishing Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, August 9th. The event will run from 8am –2pm at Badger
Lake at John F. Kennedy Park. Continuous
registration starts at 8am. Cash prizes up to $50 will be
awarded in two age groups for 1st thru 3rd heaviest. Raffle prizes from local sponsors will be
given away at 2:00. The tournament is
free but a valid fishing license is required.
A food stand will be available for lunch from 11am-1pm. Bring the family, tackle, bait, and fishing
license and enjoy a day of fishing from shore or boat. Call 576-4258 for more information.
