Clever Together Thursdays offers the opportunity to make an original work of art with guided instructions from one of our qualified art instructors. It’s fun, it may get messy, and it will definitely be a class to cherish time spent with each other!

Our classroom doors are open! Open Studio is the opportunity to practice and receive advice on acrylic painting, pastel, watercolor, clay, jewelry, printmaking, collage, wheel throwing, you name it.  Sign up ahead of time, and let us know what you’d like to work on or to reserve a wheel.

During this multi-day Blanden Art Academy, students will grasp the fundamentals to begin playing the guitar. Learn the basics from tuning and guitar strings, and then dive into simple exercises to do on each string to become familiar with chords and finger placement.

*Must bring your own guitar.*

The Brushy Creek Area Honor Flight will be taking 130+ Veterans to the WWII, Korean, Vietnam, Iwo Jima Memorials and Arlington Cemetery in Washington D.C. to honor their service.  They will leave from the Fort Dodge Regional Airport early in the morning and return between 10:30-11:30 pm.  This is an approximate time as it is subject to change due to weather conditions and other factors in Washington D.C.  The public is encouraged to attend and "Welcome Home" veterans when they return from Washington D.C.
